The Civic Engagement Facility is a catalyst for Somali-led collective action.

OUR MISSION

CEF strengthens civic networks, supports innovative ways for people to engage in civic life, and facilitates more inclusive dialogue between citizens and government around shared priorities.

We facilitate collaboration among civic actors, government, private sector, and communities to bridge divides, promote inclusive dialogue, and advance locally led change. By supporting responsive governance, CEF supports Somali communities to build a future rooted in dignity and respect.

Where civic space is shaped by the voices and actions of many

Somali civic actors organize and solve problems. CEF listens and learns in order to support, connect, and amplify these efforts.
