The Civic Engagement Facility is a catalyst for Somali-led collective action.
OUR MISSION
CEF strengthens civil society networks, supports innovative channels for civic engagement and facilitates more inclusive citizen-government dialogue around shared priorities
We facilitate collaboration among civic actors, government, private sector, and communities to bridge divides,
promote inclusive dialogue, and advance locally led change. By supporting responsive governance,
CEF supports Somali communities to build a future rooted in dignity and respect.
Where civic space is shaped by the voices and actions of many
Somali communities organise and problem-solve - CEF listens to and learns from civil society in order to support, connect, and amplify.
